The Village of Northport Department of Public Works (DPW) is dedicated to maintaining the infrastructure and essential services that keep our community safe, clean, and running smoothly year-round.

Our DPW team is responsible for maintaining village streets and sidewalks, snow and ice removal, water and sewer system operations, stormwater management, park maintenance, and public facilities upkeep. Through routine maintenance, timely repairs, and long-term planning, the department works to preserve the quality and reliability of the Village’s infrastructure.

Whether clearing streets after a winter storm, maintaining our parks and public spaces, or responding to service needs, the DPW plays a vital role in supporting residents, businesses, and visitors alike.

We are committed to providing dependable service, protecting public health and safety, and maintaining the high quality of life that makes Northport a special place to live and visit.

The Department of Public Works Superintendent submits a report of activities to the Village Council on a monthly basis. To view these reports, please visit the Village Council page.
