Haserot Park
Haserot Park, Northport’s municipal beach, is located right downtown. The grassy park offers room for the kids to run, and it’s also a favorite for festivals celebrating wine or the classic fish boil. Your view is of the sparkling waters of Grand Traverse Bay beyond the marina. Walk the pier and gaze at the boats after a picnic swim.
South Beach
Northport Municipal beach is situated along 200’ of Grand Traverse Bay frontage just south of the Marina along Bay Street. There is a sandy beach for swimming, picnic tables, public restrooms and a playground with a volleyball court. It also is the location for the Northport Youth Sailing School
Old Mill Pond
Old Mill Pond is part of Northport Creek, a DNR designated trout stream. The park is used for picnicking, fishing and special events such as the annual Fishing Derby sponsored by the Northport Sportsman’s Club. The park is also the staging place for the annual Dog Parade.
Marina

Golf Course
Northport Creek Golf Course , winner of the 2015 Golf Digest Green Star Award, is a par 35, 9 hole course that was the first course in the nation designed and built to be totally solar-powered. Located just north of town on 8th Street our course offers another outdoor option for locals and visitors alike that is world class.

The Village of Northport maintains a network of trails that promotes safe, accessible and healthy recreation while preserving the natural beauty of our area. Northport trails are a treasured part of our community
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Free, public charging of electric vehicles (EV’s) is hosted by the Village of Northport. The stations may be found in our community parking lot at 116 Waukazoo St. Both Tesla and universal Level-2 stations are available on a first come, first served basis.
Visitor Center
Start your Northport experience at the Visitor Center- your firs stop discovering everything beautiful village and surrounding Leelanau Peninsula have to offer. Located in the heart of town, The Visitor Center provides maps, local guides, event information and insider tips on shopping, dining, beaches, trails and seasonal activities. The Visitor Center is open daily from Memorial Day weekend through October
